He (S.A.W) never made people feel small, unwanted, or embarrassed.
آپ ﷺ نے کبھی کسی کو کمتر، ناپسندیدہ یا شرمندہ محسوس نہیں ہونے دیا۔
He (S.A.W) urged his followers to live decently and kindly.

صحابی سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: “اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے اس دن سے جس دن اللہ نے آپ کو رسول بنایا، وفات تک کبھی باریک آٹے کی روٹی نہیں دیکھی!”
Similarly, Aa’isha (R.A) said, “The mattress of the Rasool (S.A.W), on which he slept, was made of leather stuffed with the fibre of the date tree.”
اسی طرح حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: “رسول اللہ ﷺ کا بستر چمڑے کا تھا جو کھجور کے درخت کے ریشوں سے بھرا ہوا تھا۔”
Amr Ibn Al-Hareth (S.A.W), one of Hazrat Muhammad’s (S.A.W) companions, said that when the Rasool (S.A.W) died, he left neither money nor anything else except his white riding mule, his arms, and a piece of land which he left to charity.
حضرت عمرو بن حارث رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے وفات کے وقت نہ مال چھوڑا اور نہ ہی کچھ اور، سوائے اپنی سفید سواری کے خچر، ہتھیاروں اور ایک زمین کے ٹکڑے کے جو آپ نے صدقہ میں دیا تھا۔

When she came in to visit him (the Rasool), he got up to welcome her, took her by the hand, kissed her, and made her sit where he was sitting;
جب وہ (حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا) رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آتیں تو آپ ﷺ ان کے استقبال کے لیے کھڑے ہو جاتے، ان کا ہاتھ پکڑتے، ان کو بوسہ دیتے اور انہیں اپنی جگہ بٹھاتے۔
and when he (S.A.W) went in to visit her, she got up to welcome him, took him by the hand, kissed him, and made him sit where she was sitting.”

He (S.A.W) avoided sitting in a prominent place in a gathering, so much so that people coming in had difficulty in spotting him and had to ask who the Rasool (S.A.W) was.

Once, Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was travelling with his companions, and when it was time to have the food prepared, he asked them to slaughter a sheep.
ایک بار حضرت محمد ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کے ساتھ سفر پر تھے، جب کھانا تیار کرنے کا وقت آیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ایک بکری ذبح کی جائے۔
A man said, “I will slaughter it.” Another one said, “I will skin it.” A third one said, “I will cook it.”
ایک شخص نے کہا، ’’میں اسے ذبح کروں گا۔‘‘ دوسرے نے کہا، ’’میں اس کی کھال اتاروں گا۔‘‘ تیسرے نے کہا، ’’میں اسے پکاؤں گا۔‘‘
So the Rasool of Allah (S.A.W) said, “I will collect wood for the fire.”
تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، ’’میں لکڑیاں اکٹھی کروں گا۔‘‘
They said, “We will suffice you that work.”
انہوں نے کہا، ’’ہم آپ کی طرف سے یہ کام کر دیں گے۔‘‘
He replied, “I know that you can do it for me, but I hate to be privileged. Allah hates to see a slave of His privileged to others.” So he went and collected firewood.
آپ ﷺ نے جواب دیا، ’’مجھے معلوم ہے کہ تم یہ کام میرے لیے کر سکتے ہو، لیکن مجھے یہ ناپسند ہے کہ میں تم پر کوئی امتیاز رکھوں۔ اللہ کو یہ ناپسند ہے کہ اس کا بندہ دوسروں سے امتیازی سلوک کرے۔‘‘ چنانچہ آپ ﷺ خود جا کر لکڑیاں جمع کرنے لگے۔
